My very first post

Ok, I’m finally doing it.  I’m jumping off of the fence.  I’m joining the world of blogging.  I’m hoping this will be a place where I can record some of the aspects of my life that would normally slip through the cracks.  (Though some may definitely be crack worthy!)  So bear with me as I get used to this blogging thing.  The blog, I’m sure, will be a work in progress for some time as I get used to navigating it.  Please excuse the dust!
